Pet
Policies
We welcome small,
well-behaved pets at the inn, but you must notify us at booking. What
do we mean by small? If there’s any doubt your pet might qualify,
please call us at 1-800-277-6660 and ask.
As anyone who’s visited
us can tell you, we are pretty open-minded people, but we also see the
value in setting reasonable limits when it comes to pets.
In the case of
Ash,
the gray tomcat who lives at the inn, we pretty much allow him free
reign, but only during the day and only on the ground floor of the Main House. The Guest
House is off limits to Ash to offer a haven for those guests who are
either allergic to cats, or simply prefer an environment without them.
So, if you choose to
bring your pet with you:
· You
must notify us at booking.
· There
is a one-time $50 non-refundable charge.
· You
must bring them with you when you go out and about. Pets left
behind in rooms often make noise that disturbs other guests.
· You’ll
be limited to ground-floor rooms —
Magnolia,
Hemingway
and the Oasis Suite — in order to eliminate the
pitter-patter of four little feet over someone else’s head.
Please note that Magnolia is the smallest of those rooms and
therefore can accommodate only one visiting pet.
We hope this does not
discourage you from staying with us if you’d like to bring along your
pet. We’ve had some very positive feedback from those who have decided
to bring their animal friends, including these comments:
